About the job:


5x5 is seeking a highly skilled Customer Onboarding Specialist to oversee and streamline the customer onboarding process, both independently and in collaboration with our team. In this role, you will be responsible for educating new customers about our data products, resolving technical issues, and ensuring a seamless adoption of our products and data. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high energy, a strong passion for customer success, exceptional organizational abilities, and proficiency in communication through email and Slack. Effective time management and adherence to onboarding timelines for multiple customers are essential to excel in this position.

Requirements


  • Provide an exceptional support experience via email, web and/or phone for our customers using 5x5’s products.
  • Partner with the Sales and Customer Success teams to gain a deep understanding of customers’ data requirements and product objectives.
  • Project manages the data testing process and develops mutual success plans with new 5x5 customers.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing regular check-ins and support during the onboarding process.
  • Troubleshoot with internal engineering teams on AWS, S3, Snowflake, or GCP related issues affecting successful onboarding.
  • Conduct onboarding calls to discuss testing plans and best practices, ensuring effective implementation.
  • Ensure successful setup of data sharing methods to streamline data delivery.
  • Update HubSpot and document interactions and feedback for thorough record-keeping.
  • Facilitate scheduling of meetings and respond to inquiries within a 24-hour period.
  • Manage and coordinate communications between internal teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
  • Own the customer onboarding process and create mutual success plans to drive value and achieve customer goals.
  • Deliver timely technical resolutions to issues, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the bridge between 5x5 customers and the product/engineering team, facilitating clear communication and feedback.
  • Strong sense of JIRA ticketing to help streamline and project manage tickets, and ensure timely delivery of onboarding items.
  • Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of 5x5’s data products and solutions.


Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in a Technology environment providing customer service.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing or consulting role is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to take initiative and contribute to achieving company goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
