Commercial Lending Coordinator
Description

GENERAL OVERVIEW

Responsible for assisting in the processing and servicing of Member Business loans. This individual will assist the Sr. Commercial Loan Officer to obtain necessary documentation for all new and existing Member Business Loans. Additional duties will include coordinating the outside vendors as loans are processed and funded. Strong member service skills and the desire to assist our Business members is key to the success of this position and the MBL department as a whole. 


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Obtain all necessary documentation required to process a Commercial loan file. 

· Assist Sr. Commercial Loan Officer with communication with members, attorneys, realtors, appraisers and vendors to ensure timely scheduling. 

· Works closely with Sr. Commercial Loan Officer to obtain outstanding information for both new and existing MBLs.

· Maintain a schedule for all existing MBLs for at least annual review of the loan file by the Sr. Commercial Loan Officer.

· Obtain the appropriate documents from loan applicants, create loan file and work with Sr. Commercial Loan Officer to complete loan presentation in a timely manner. 

· Following commercial checklist and instruction form Sr. Commercial Loan Officer, review business loan application file to verify that application data is complete. 

· Create appropriate electronic documentation and follow through to completion.

· Maintain written procedures of work processes to meet Compliance guidelines 

· Responsible for setting up MBL property tax information with third party.

· Responsible for following up on post-closing documentation to ensure file completion.

· Coordinate documentation for MBL audit reviews.

· Interact with lending operations and other Credit Union personnel regarding servicing. 

· Continually look for process improvements and make recommendations to Sr. Commercial Loan Officer, as needed. 

· Possess knowledge of Credit Union products, services and team members.

· Review and prepare various weekly/monthly and quarterly reports

· All other duties that may be assigned from time to time.  


  

Work Schedule: Mon. – Fri. 8:15 am – 5:00 pm, 45 minute lunch.



Requirements

· At least an Associate degree in Business Administration or similar education qualifications

· At least 2 years of lending or loan processing experience

· Fluent in MS Excel & Word.

· Superior time management skills

· Excellent verbal and written skills 

· Strong member service skills
