GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: On shift support to troubleshoot and resolve electrical, pneumatic, and automation issues

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoot pneumatics and instrumentation issues.
- Press and robot troubleshooting, in conjunction with Maintenance and Process Technicians, as needed to assist with major issues.
- Troubleshooting electrical issues, expert in wiring/re-wiring, and reading schematics.
- Provide PLC assistance with diagnosing, troubleshooting, and trending of control systems.
- Respond to all Quality and Operator issues regarding parts and processes.

Requirements
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/TASKS/ABILITIES:
- Proficient with pneumatic and Hydraulic systems and their interaction with PLC's and automated machinery
- Proficient in repairs of pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
- Experience with PLC programming modifications.
- Proficient with PLC5, SLC500, RSLogix 5000, and familiar with other controllers.
- Proficient in trouble shooting automated systems, schematics & wiring diagrams.
- Skilled in electrical applications
- Problem Solving
- Plastic Injection Molding experience is a plus.
