The Lead Security Ambassador provides an excellent level of service to tenants and guests while serving in a leadership role for their assigned properties. This position shall represent, train and promote brand service standards, standard operating procedures and other core programs within the Security department.
We currently have openings in both divisions: Lead Ambassador- Commercial Office & Lead Ambassador - Retail
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides excellent guest services in accordance with the MetroNational Brand Services standards to building employees, visitors, customers and guests
Liaison with security leadership and property management regularly to ensure operational needs are met
Supports the Shift Supervisor to ensure all aspects of Security post orders and standard operating procedures are followed and implemented daily
Assists with the training and development of Security Ambassadors to include new hires, cross-training, or seasonal security team members
Works closely with Security Leadership and the Training Department to develop, maintain, complete and review new hire checklists
Supports the Shift Supervisor to ensure an incident response and subsequent reporting are fully executed
Efficient report writer to assist with documenting incident data, property conditions and daily activities/observations.
Education and Required Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
- 2+ years of previous security experience required, preferably in a retail environment.
Skills, Qualifications and Other Requirements
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments to achieve desired outcomes within established time schedules.
- Ability to function calmly and effectively during times of emergencies or high-stress situations.
- Possess excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills
- Must be familiar with Security Operating Procedures, Emergency Response, Incident Management and other MetroNational core programs related to Security and Emergency Response.
- Must be able to discern suspicious behavior via monitoring equipment and be well-versed in dispatching appropriate responses to suspicious activities.
- Exercises good judgement and initiative with little direct supervision.
- Working knowledge of computer software and Microsoft office with the ability to lean site specific technology
