Job purpose: The Quality Assurance (QA) specialist ensures products meet quality standards, preventing defects, and errors, and enhancing customer satisfaction through rigorous testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams. They identify issues, conduct inspections, and improve quality standards, maintaining the integrity of products and services.


Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position will involve the meticulous planning and execution of both manual and automated tests, encompassing exploratory, acceptance, integration, smoke, and regression tests. Additionally, the role entails active participation in enhancing and expanding our automated test suite.


Responsibilities: 

  • Work in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum engineering environment and deliver incremental product software with high quality. 
  • Develop comprehensive acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and test cases
  • Support ad-hoc and exploratory testing requests
  • Create clear and concise detail-oriented test plans
  • Identify and log defects in the system
  • Assist the development and operations teams in debugging and replicating issues
  • Write and maintain internal documentation
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts
  • Participate in key planning meetings and proactively provide inputs to identify quality issues, testing needs, and project risks early. 





Requirements


  • High school diploma or equivalent; BS in Computer Sciences or a relevant field preferred
  • Years of experience: Typically 0-2
  • Analytical thinker 
  • Ability to work in self-managing atmosphere
  • Independent problem solving skills
  • Knowledge/ exposure to Cypress for test automation preferred
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, SQL
  • Ability to summarize and discuss testing observations
  • Experience/knowledge of JIRA and Scrum methodology a plus
  • Experience with testing tools and automation frameworks like Postman, WebDriverIo, LambdaTest, Mocha, Chai and Jenkins

It would be great if you have or are pursuing the following:

Amazon web certification 


It would be great if you have or are pursuing the following:

  • PMP certification

We prefer that you have experience with:

  • Google Suite
  • MS Office Suite
  • SalesForce
  • JIRA and Confluence
