Role Overview: As a Help Desk Specialist I at Amped Data Solutions, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations and resolving technical issues efficiently to further drive organizational success. Your enthusiastic knack for providing exceptional customer service and technology solutions will make you a key player in our customers' and team members’ journey toward data-driven success.
Responsibilities:
Support and Troubleshooting:
- Serve as the first point of contact for both internal staff and external clients experiencing technical issues, including software glitches, hardware malfunctions, and network problems.
- Provide Tier 2 troubleshooting and issue resolution for both internal and external helpdesk tickets.
- Manage ticketing systems to log, prioritize, and track support requests, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to resolve complex issues and escalate to Tier 3 resources when necessary.
Documentation and Communication:
- Document all support interactions accurately, maintaining detailed records of issues and resolutions.
- Communicate effectively with clients and staff, providing status updates on tickets and ensuring exceptional satisfaction.
Quality Assurance and Improvement:
- Identify and document opportunities for product and process improvements based on recurring issues and feedback.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated on new technologies and industry trends.
Key Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and solid technical foundation
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to upper management and non-technical users
- 1-2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role preferred
- Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service & support
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment
