Position Summary

The Vice President and Program Owner oversees all aspects of our relationship with a large, strategic client utilizing our Leadership Support Services and will be the primary contact for the client’s Chief Mental Health Officer and their leaders. While working with our key functional areas supporting this program (Operations, Account Management, Clinical and IT) they will have decision making authority over enhancements and changes to the program and be accountable to deliver the high impact, high touch services. This position monitors details and trends in the program as well as employee mental health trends and will apply a strategic lens to proactively partner with the client to optimize program performance.



VP & Program Owner Essential Functions:

  • Develop and refine the program’s vision, goals, and objectives
  • Ensure creation of detailed project plans, timelines, and roadmaps to ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate program viability
  • Monitor program progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and milestones
  • Identify and resolve issues or bottlenecks that may impact program success
  • Develop and manage the program budget, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, making adjustments as necessary
  • Manage program changes, including scope adjustments, budget reallocations, and timeline shifts
  • Communicate changes effectively to all stakeholders and team members
  • Ensure that change processes are followed to minimize disruption
  • Recommend and implement improvements for future programs
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance program management capabilities
  • Prepare regular status reports for senior management and other stakeholders
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of program activities, decisions, and changes
  • Ensure that all program records are up-to-date and accessible
  • Engage with key stakeholders (e.g., executives, team leads, clients) to understand their needs and expectations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all program-related communications
  • Facilitate regular meetings and updates to ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged


Other Essential Functions:

  • Participates in department and company meetings, as requested
  • Monitor and report on overall program budget
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Excellent program management skills including the ability to oversee and coordinate projects and other strategic initiatives
  • Solid understanding of data analytics, IT development, and trends in behavioral health
  • Ability to identify and plan for potential program and project risks and implement mitigation strategies as needed.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Education & Licensing

  • Bachelor’s degree in organization management, business, or behavioral health required; Master’s degree preferred.


Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of experience overseeing healthcare or HR programs for diverse, high performing corporate clientele required
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in behavioral health or healthcare with a keen focus on strategic planning and execution required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or project ownership experience preferred
  • Certified Strategic Account Manager (CSAM) preferred


Physical Work Requirements

Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
