Description

FEV Tutor, a fast-growing EdTech company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Executive with a strong background in K-12 education to help drive our continued growth. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Sales and leverage your expertise in selling software-enabled instructional solutions to K-12 public schools, districts, and charter schools. We are looking for a candidate with a proven ability to achieve sales goals and who is passionate about supporting schools in their mission to improve student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets to contribute to the growth of your assigned territory.
  • Leverage your network within K-12 education to promote FEV Tutor’s platform and service offerings.
  • Build, maintain, and foster strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers, including school and district decision-makers.
  • Present and sell FEV Tutor’s products and services to key stakeholders such as Superintendents, Chief Academic Officers, Principals, and district-level Directors.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan and participate in key conferences at the state, regional, and national levels.
  • Follow up on leads generated by marketing campaigns and events.
  • Coordinate your sales efforts with other team members and departments to ensure seamless execution.
  • Use Salesforce to manage the sales pipeline, track customer interactions, analyze market potential, and report on key metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to provide insights to sales leadership and improve customer engagement.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on educational technology or K-12 solutions (experience in other industries will be considered).
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets, particularly in selling solutions to K-12 schools or districts.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messaging to a variety of audiences.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or a similar CRM system for managing sales processes, tracking customer engagement, and forecasting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • A collaborative team player who is also self-motivated and capable of working independently to grow a territory.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace for daily tasks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Travel:

This role requires travel for local in-person customer meetings and attendance at key state and national events. Account Executives should expect to travel approximately 35-50% of the time, depending on client and event needs. We support work-life balance and can discuss flexibility in travel arrangements when possible.
