Prepares food orders for guest in the Casino Resorts Bingo Hall. Maintains the cleanliness in the snack bar area. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Prepares food and ingredients at the beginning of an assigned shift and replenishes during slow periods.
- Creates orders according to menu and supervisors instructions with attention to taste and visual appeal.
- Will be expected to learn the Micros system and the front serving area to assist the cashiers when needed.
- Maintains the kitchen and supply room in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition.
- Assists in maintaining snack bar inventory, orders, stocks, and rotates items. Dates all perishable items upon delivery. Keeps condiments filled.
- Keeps kitchen clean to include floors walls, ceiling tiles, equipment (inside & out) as well as deep cleaning projects such as fryers, grease traps, walk-in cooler floors, shelves and walls.
- Cleans area, restocks all items, puts away perishables, and covers all food items at the end of a shift.
- Makes recommendations to the supervisor regarding menu, recipes, food supply quantity, and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and a safe, efficient, and profitable operation.
- Provides constructive input to foster process improvement within the department.
- Maintains confidential information that is received in verbal, written, and electronic media. Limits access to information on a job-related, need-to-know basis.
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate required.
- 1 Year of experience in a retail or customer service operation.
- Snack Bar Cook experience or cooks helper experience desired.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
- Current Food Handler or ServSafe Certificate and OLCC License required.
