Summary

The Accounting Coordinator will support Kigo by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with various accounting tasks. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.

  

You’ll spend your days on the following:

  • Process accounts payable vendor invoices and employee expense reports, respond to vendor inquiries and prepare weekly check runs.
  • Process accounts receivable invoices and post payments.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Support month-end close activities.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as needed.


What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience using Microsoft D365.
