Summary:

This position will perform tasks such as vacuuming and catalytic element replacements that may require heavy lifting. In addition, this position will be responsible for various prep work, such as cutting felt, module tear down and staging catalyst logs for use. The work is in an industrial environment and may require manual cleaning of the product in order to prepare for further detailed cleaning. Responsibilities could include forklift driving if skills and experience are met for driving. Work is performed under general supervision.

Essential Duties: 

•  Follow safety instruction and plant rules
•  Assist in module processing
•  Perform duties involved in maintenance, arrangement and cleanliness of the warehouse/worksite and its equipment such as general housekeeping. May be required to drive a forklift to lift 3,500 lb. modules if the employee has forklift driving skills. Will be required to pass company’s forklift training class and get official license to drive forklift.
•  Notify Supervisor of nonconforming goods

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

•  Good communication skills
•  Able to work in a team
•  Good attendance - punctual
•  Able to push/pull up to 75lbs. with team help (individually up to 40 lbs.)
•  Ability to listen and follow directions 
•  High School diploma or equivalent – preferred
•  On the job training, experience – particularly in an industrial setting

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a plant environment. This role routinely requires moving around equipment and forklift operators thus the need for safety at all times. Temperature can be very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. The noise level is high and requires attentiveness. Environment can be very dusty and dirty at times.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and possibly climbing. The employee must be able to lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds.
