Description

First National Holdings, LLC makes property tax and commercial real estate loans through its different company brands. Propel Financial Services is our brand that provides property tax loans across Texas. Propel Financial Services has originated over 70,000 property tax loans. The Junior Bilingual Loan Originator - Inside Sales, (Jr. LO), is a fully on-site role based out of our Austin office which will report to the Director of Sales. Jr. LO’s are responsible for selling our property tax loans. LO’s compensation shall consist of three components: a salary, monthly commissions, and bonuses. The bulk of the expected compensation should come from commissions and bonuses.


The Jr. LO is an outbound sales position responsible for prospecting loans out of our existing portfolio and aged new customer prospects. These include homestead, investment residential, land and commercial real estate. Through the combination of your outreach efforts, the Jr. LO shall vet a robust pipeline offering prospects our diverse and competitive product line.


Primary responsibilities

  • Close loans
  • Prospect loans through various avenues including existing customers, past customers, stale leads, tax sale lists and the delinquent tax roll
  • Screen new loan opportunities and aggressively pursue and negotiate with promising prospects
  • Exercise creativity to make hard deals work
  • Monitor and assist underwriting and closers as needed
  • Responsible for soliciting, negotiating and coordinating the closing of existing customers and new customers
  • Stay abreast of general market and underwriting guideline changes
  • Be familiar with all types of collateral, method or means used to secure loans
  • Work independently and be able to grasp new concepts quickly, troubleshoot problems and multi-task and prioritize work
  • Knowledge of standard procedures in loan origination, underwriting, processing, closing, funding and servicing loans
  • Knowledge of contracts, collateral documents, and real estate/business/commercial law
Requirements
  • 1-5 years of sales experience in any environment
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Ability to obtain NMLS license within 4 months
  • Ability to work on-site full-time from our Austin office
  • Demonstrate a high level of performance, motivation, high ethical standards, professionalism and integrity
  • Must have customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and positively represent Propel
  • MS Office Suite - Standard knowledge in Outlook, Word, and Excel

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Business or Finance
  • Salesforce experience or other CRM
  • Demonstrated knowledge of real estate loans

Salary Description
OTE: $50,000-$70,000
