Position Summary:

WCAC has contracts with the Department of Energy (DOE) and the major local utility companies to install energy conservation measures in eligible income homes. The Weatherization (WX) Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in the organization and tracking of job flow for the weatherization team. The WX Admin will provide support to Energy staff and contractors to make sure job scopes are facilitated, completed, invoiced and processed. The WX Admin will also be the primary contact for contractor support and client care correspondence.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with prior administrative experience, associate degree or higher is a plus. 
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 
  • Strong technology skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to quickly master proprietary software programs, use with Mondays.com a plus.
  • Ability to coordinate job details between staff and contractor base.
  • Must exercise good judgement and make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. Positive, friendly, and resourceful demeanor required.
  • General knowledge of the Energy Efficiency programs and Heating Assistance programs a plus.
  • Embraces and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Ability to speak Spanish or other languages, a plus.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to successfully complete a National Grid’s background check process, including drug screen.
