Position Summary:
WCAC has contracts with the Department of Energy (DOE) and the major local utility companies to install energy conservation measures in eligible income homes. The Client Intake Support Specialist will serve as the first point of contact for all clients that have questions or need regarding energy services. The Client Intake Support Specialist will perform informational intakes on all clients looking for new energy efficiency services to ensure they are eligible for WCAC programs. This intake time will also be used for the staff member to set clear expectations of our programs and processes. It will also allow Client Intake Support Specialist to build a relationship with clients as this staff will then become the first point of contact for all client's questions and concerns after the initial energy visits.

- Familiarity with residential energy efficient and renewable technologies, specifically related to lighting, appliances, weatherization and HVAC
- Experience or advanced courses in Energy Efficiency and Construction a plus.
- High School Diploma or HiSet equivalent required, associate or bachelor's degree a plus.
- Demonstrated customer service skills, attention to detail and outstanding level of professionalism.
- Strong outreach, organization, and self-motivation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must work cooperatively and effectively with a diverse population.
- Strong technology skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, Mondays.com and ability to quickly master proprietary software programs.
- Embraces and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Ability to speak Spanish or other languages, a plus.
Other Requirements:
- Must pass Accurate Background check including CORI and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
