Sam Rust Seafood is a processor and distributor of exceptional live, fresh and frozen seafood. We provide the freshest quality seafood to all types of establishments, including white tablecloth restaurants to buffets, supermarket chains, hotels, caterers, and natural food markets. 

We are seeking part-time professional Delivery Driver for the delivery of Fresh/Frozen Seafood Products to our highly respected clients in the Lynchburg, VA area.

*This is a cross-dock delivery driver, you will meet our truck coming from Hampton, VA.  Cross docking in Crozet, VA with delivery in the Lynchburg area.

Looking for individuals interested in working Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:00 am until the route completed (typical day 6-8 hours).

• Prior Delivery Driver experience a plus.
• Applicants must be at least 22 years of age.
• Ability to drive a 14 foot box truck (no CDL required).
• Must be dependable and punctual due to customer delivery requirements.
• Responsible for collecting invoices and checks from customers.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Capable of lifting upwards of 50 lbs.
• Ability to work productively without direct supervision, self-motivated and goal oriented.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Possess a good DMV record (this means you have 0 or + points on your record).
• Employment is dependent upon Drug testing, DMV record, background check and ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.

Education:

• High school or equivalent
