Our Senior Operations Specialist will perform a wide range of HR, strategic, tactical, and operational tasks to help our company run efficiently and scale for growth. You will leverage your strong organizational skills to manage workflows and strive to optimize daily activities and performance throughout the organization. Working across all business lines, you will have a unique perspective and the ability to effect lasting change.

  • Remote: Anywhere in the US

Requirements

 Responsibilities: 

  • Assist and drive activities related to planning, organizing, and coordinating functions relating to the operation of the business. 
  • Develop, uplift, and document business processes, procedures, and associated templates and artifacts. 
  • Conduct onboarding tasks, including launch of background check, launch of HRIS packet, set up accounts, document preparation, and new employee orientation. 
  • Conduct offboarding tasks including account status changes, benefit continuation, prepare documents for separation, conduct exit interviews.
  • Register with state and local agencies for income tax withholding, state unemployment, and other applicable agencies as new employees are hired.
  • Act as the first “line of defense” for employee questions related to processes, benefits, troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with IT for account status changes. 
  • Assist with screening and interviewing candidates and with recruiting as needed, including job descriptions, resume review, and candidate follow-up.
  • Manage benefit administration and employee enrollment. 
  • Facilitate, manage, and own Open Enrollment including after actions.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems, to include ISO 17020 and ISO 9001 standards. 
  • Work with internal stakeholders, consultants, and external vendors to drive initiatives including handbook updates and revisions, HRIS updates, business development efforts, etc.  
  • Support reviewing and managing documents such as Non-Disclosure Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Teaming Agreements, etc. 
  • Provide user and admin support for internal Paylocity, Unanet, and other systems. 
  • Provide support for project setup, purchase orders, invoice setup, people profiles, and general troubleshooting, 
  • Assist with quality control and peer review process.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Core Qualifications: 

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5-7 years of experience in an HR, operations, or similar  roles 
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate new technologies and platforms.
  • Proven organizational skills, including prioritization, time management and multitasking.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 
  • Demonstrated attention to detail. 
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and listening skills. 
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work well under pressure. 
  • Ability to work effectively within ambiguity.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with time tracking software, learning management systems, and other operational tools.

  • Experience with Unanet Software for ERP and CRM solutions

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Capable of operating a computer and other office productivity machinery, and frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers.


This is a Full-Time, W2 position. Corp-to-Corp and 1099 ineligible.
