A Registered Nurse Role at Guidelight Health:
Guidelight Health is looking for dedicated Registered Nurses to provide services to Adolescents and Adults in a PHP/IOP setting. We are excited to find innovative professionals to enrich our programs and deliver top-notch care to our clients.
The Registered Nurse will report to the Executive Director and will provide comprehensive medical care and support to individuals with mental health conditions who require intensive outpatient treatment. They are responsible for assessing the clients' physical and mental health, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Additionally, they educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, medication management, and coping strategies to promote recovery and wellness.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and mental health status.
- Monitor vital signs and assess for any signs of medical or psychiatric emergencies.
- Provide, implement and evaluate nursing care interventions.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Obtain prior authorizations for medications.
- Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mental health conditions, medications, and coping strategies.
- Document client assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for clients and teammates.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review clients progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice, including maintaining client confidentiality.
- Participate in supervision as required by local state laws and in line with Guidelight clinical standards.
- Other reasonable job duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Licensed or possess the ability to obtain license as an Advance Practiced Nurse in the State of Colorado
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through the completion of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn department and job-specific software systems
- CPR certified
- Experience with clients in crisis
- Direct clinical experience working with clients in a setting like PHP or IOP is preferred.
