The ideal candidate will have experience in bridge, grading, and heavy highway construction projects. As a Site Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all personnel on the job site and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for the job site
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
- Provide safety training to all personnel on the job site
- Investigate accidents and incidents and provide recommendations for corrective action
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
- Maintain accurate records of all safety-related incidents and activities
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure safety goals are met

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as in a full time safety role on bridge, grading, and heavy highway construction projects
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
