Position Overview:

The Marketing Analytics and eCommerce Manager will be a key member of our team, responsible for driving data-driven strategies that support sales growth across various channels, including Home Centers, Mass Retail, and eCommerce, with a strong focus on our Amazon business. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing and Omni-Channel Strategy, this role involves leveraging category data, managing new product launches, and enhancing our eCommerce presence in collaboration with external partners.


Key Responsibilities: 


eCommerce Management:

• Develop and implement the eCommerce strategy for Amazon and emerging pure-play accounts, aligning with the company's overall sales and marketing objectives.

• Own all aspects of Amazon account management in partnership with agency, including product listings, pricing strategies, promotions, and inventory planning.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify growth opportunities and execute strategies that drive sales and market share.

• Monitor and optimize key performance metrics such as sales velocity, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction, using data-driven insights to adjust tactics.

• Ensure P&L responsibility for eCommerce channels, focusing on profitability through strategic pricing, promotions, and cost management.

• Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities, refining the eCommerce strategy to maintain a competitive edge.

• Report on key performance indicators and provide actionable insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making.

• New Business Development and support with onboarding 


New Product Launches and Commercialization:

• Partner with sales to manage innovation, ensuring customer-centric product development.

• Own competitive landscapes to inform product launch decisions.

• Support volume and pricing assumptions for new launches and promotions.


Data Analytics & Reporting:

• Synthesize complex data into actionable insights.

• Conduct POS and promotional analysis to drive business decisions.

• Manage sales reporting and analysis through tools like PowerBI, Retail Link, and Seller Central.

• Develop pricing strategies based on competitive analysis.

• Manage Market Share trends and reporting.

• Build data driven sell in stories.


Internal Voice of Key Retailers:

• Serve as the internal voice for key retailers during organizational and project meetings.

• Support account line reviews, QBRs, and Joint Business Planning sessions.

• Provide cross-channel analytics and category management insights.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in CPG, focusing on Amazon account management, category management, P&L management, or related fields.

• Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Tableau.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and ad hoc requests.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with a proven track record of collaboration.



Requirements

Minimum Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, sales planning, marketing analytics, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

• At least 5 years of experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) with a focus on Amazon and eCommerce account management, category management, shopper insights, sales, or finance.

• Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• In-depth knowledge of data management, forecasting, optimization, and data visualization processes.

• Demonstrated success in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

• A proactive self-starter with a strong problem-solving mindset, capable of analyzing complex business issues, identifying root causes, and developing clear, actionable solutions.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying insights and recommendations to diverse audiences.
