Legal Administrative Specialist
Description

Position Summary: Assist Legal Department in efforts as assigned by Director of Legal/Managing Attorney and Supervisor.


Position Responsibilities

  • Oversee CO revival process: 
  • Work various pool queues in support of the legal process.
  • Work the judgment revival queue to ensure that judgments that are about to expire are revived.
  • Draft and e-file various motions. 
  • Request and redact itemized statements for suit purposes to comply with SB (Senate Bill) 23-093
  • Work clerical queue (668), defaults pursuant to stipulation.
  • Draft and e-file motions.
  • Skip trace for CO revivals and NE non-services: Research required information using available resources to locate a current address. 
  • Oversee Satisfaction process:
  • Draft and e-file satisfactions and motions to dismiss pursuant to the stipulation.  
  • Work the transcripts queue to ensure that liens are placed on appropriate judgments.
  • Follow FDCPA, ACA, FTC, and State compliance guidelines as it relates to the collection process in general and the litigation process specifically, continue ongoing education.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned periodically by management.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED; Secondary education is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of working experience in a professional office environment
  • Must be able to come into the office a minimum of twice a week

Salary Description
$16 - $19 / hour (job typically starts at $16)
