Location: Base out of Dallas Texas

We are seeking a dynamic Sales and Product Training Specialist with a strong sales background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the appliance industry and a deep understanding of how to position premium products within the marketplace. You will be responsible for developing and delivering sales training programs that empower our sales teams and channel partners to effectively promote our products.

Expected Hours of Work: 

This position is full-time. The general scheduled workdays are Monday through Friday.

Position Overview:

The Sales and Product Training Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to ensure that employees, customers, and partners are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed. The role requires a high level of public speaking, presentation abilities, and a deep understanding of the company's products, services, and culture. This individual will support sales teams, create and maintain training materials, and travel extensively to support on-site sales and training activities. This role will be responsible for our Marvel and U-Line brand.

Responsibilities:

Design and deliver comprehensive sales training programs focused on Marvel and U-Line’s products, ensuring a deep understanding of product features, benefits, and positioning in the marketplace.

  • Create engaging training materials, including presentations, agendas, and product documentation, with a focus on a sales-oriented perspective.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions with internal sales teams, distributors, and retail partners.
  • Support the VP of Sales by providing training and strategic sales support.
  • Travel up to 75% of the time to various locations to deliver hands-on, in-field training.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and market demands.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with broader marketing efforts.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new sales personnel with tailored product training.
Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Experience in sales or sales training, preferably within the appliance or related industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in training, public speaking, or sales support roles.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Prior experience in the appliance industry preferred.
  • A positive, flexible attitude with a willingness to fully immerse in brand and product knowledge.
  • Ability to work shifts and hours mandated by management and to pass a drug screen.
