Duties & Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project artifacts, including project proposals, identifying sponsors and estimated hours, hard costs, and vendor considerations; charters (scope, goals, desired outcomes); and project plans detailing accountable resources, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and budgets. Allocate resources effectively and monitor project progress. Prepare for and participate in the Project Management Committee, presenting project proposals for consideration, and delivering concise status reports on project portfolio.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal and external partners. Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Develop contingency plans and escalate issues as needed.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve project delivery.
• Financial Management: Track project budgets, manage expenditures, and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to ensure project deliverables meet defined standards.
• Change Management: Manage change effectively, communicating impacts and implementing necessary adjustments.
• Issue Management: Identify critical path issues, blockers, or material items missed in requirements phase and communicate, escalate, and resolve timely and effectively, employing good change management as needed.
• Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular project reports to stakeholders, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the banking or fintech industry.
• PMP or equivalent certification required.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery, including managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of banking processes, regulations, and financial products.
• Experience working with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project).
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of banking trends and technologies.

Physical Working Conditions

• The physical working conditions for this position are generally office-based, with a typical workweek of 40 hours. The office environment is typically climate-controlled, well-lit, and comfortable. The work may require extended periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer or laptop, and engaging in meetings or conference calls.
