REHAB CUSTOMER CARE COORDINATOR
Description

The Rehab Customer Care Coordinator (Billing Coordinator) will be responsible for performing administrative tasks for the Rehabilitation Dept. including completing quotes for our payors, creating purchase requests, and submitting for authorization. The Coordinator will also be responsible for ensuring pricing is entered correctly based off payer contracts and items are entered correctly into the database system.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions:

  • Verifying insurance information/Eligibility
  • Determining whether eligibility is a contracting payer
  • Pricing out quotations for insurance providers.
  • Creating purchase requests.
  • Perform administrative tasks
  • Following up on authorizations and verifying correct HCPS/Modifiers have been approved
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum three years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare/medical setting
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must have a strong knowledge of billing codes
  • Good analytical and math abilities
  • Problem Solver
  • General knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment and Supplies preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (WORD, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, and well-organized
  • Follow-up to be able to complete the orders/calls

Salary Description
$21-$25/hour
