Description

We are looking for an Engineering student to join our team of Summer 2025 Interns. Our internships are full-time, paid, and will run from May 19th through August 1st, 2025. This role will work collaboratively, daily with all of our Engineering groups. The internship assignment is designed to provide the student real-life work experience and training in the day-to-day activities in a manufacturing facility. Our internships are part of our recruiting strategy to attract and retain highly qualified talent.


This position is Safety Sensitive.


Key Job Responsibilities

  • Support Engineering team in designing, developing and documenting new and existing (sustaining) Wire harness and Instrumentation /Control panel with accuracy for Industrial, Off-highway and Recreational markets through following steps.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Application to gather and understand product requirements through customer drawings, formal documentation/discussion, or hands-on measurement on the equipment.
  • Learn and understand how to Scope, Estimate and Plan work to identify completion date.
  • Assist in creating BOM and sourcing components.
  • Create/Updated wire harness schematics and branch layout using 2D CAD and wire connection lists (wire cut list) using excel.
  • Thoroughly check drawings and BOM’s before submitting for review and approval.
  • Assist in manufacturing processes such as creating harness boards, test harnesses, test programs, work/test Instruction.
  • Hands-on participation in implementing and validating products on the equipment.

Education Requirements

  • Engineering student in good standing who understands engine and engine-driven applications. (Electrical/Instrumentation/Mechanical preferred)

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to understand engine and engine-driven applications and read electric schematics and datasheets.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Good understanding of CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.
  • Hands-on experience working with engines and equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines and goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal/external customers. 
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and self-starter.

Salary Description
$20 - $24
