Description
We are looking for a student interested in pursuing a career in the Manufacturing world particularly with Quality, Audits, and/or Manufacturing Process Improvements, to join our team of Summer 2025 Interns. Our internships are full-time, paid, and will run from May 19th through August 1, 2025. We are specifically looking for undergraduate or graduate-level students actively enrolled in an accredited college or technology program in Management Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Applied Sciences, Applied Mathematics, Engineering Technology, Quality Assurance, Metrology, or a related field.
The internship assignment is designed to provide the student with real-life work experience and training in the day-to-day activities of a manufacturing facility. Our internships are part of our recruiting strategy to attract and retain highly qualified talent.
This position is Safety Sensitive.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Work on assigned projects with close supervision of mentor/supervisor/team member.
- Review and update manufacturing documentation.
- Audit manufacturing processes, update documentation, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Review and update Bill of Materials and Routings for manufacturing processes.
- Review non-conforming products for root cause.
- Assist Quality Technicians with daily inspection activities.
- Organize and record detailed test results
Education
- Actively pursuing a degree from an accredited college or technology program in Management Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, Applied Sciences, Quality Assurance, Metrology, or a related field.
- Minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
