The Digital Product Manager, App & Profile is a new position being created to drive new experiences and enhancements on how our athletes and fans engage with The IRONMAN Group’s digital apps and profile. This role will be responsible for managing the digital CX strategy in collaboration with the Sr. Director, Digital Platforms, UX/UI Design and Web Development. The right candidate for this role should have experience with solutioning for customer facing experiences via web/mobile and apps. As solutions for these products are all geared towards endurance athletes, having experience as an athlete or experience working with athletes in the sports industry is highly preferred.


This position is based in Tampa, Florida and reports directly to the Senior Director, Digital Platforms. 


Responsibilities:

  • Partner with digital leadership, key stakeholders and users across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization. 
  • Foster ongoing development and execution of the product roadmap
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including, but not limited to Analytics, Marketing, Registration Platforms, Athlete Services, Partnerships and Operations 
  • Develop and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance to evaluate future investment. 
  • Lead the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology. 
  • Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria. 
  • Aid in defining the user experience for internal/externals users, including support and monitoring. 
  • Establish internal agile/sprint workflows for efficient management and rollout of product updates 
  • Be adept in a fast-paced & dynamic work environment to continuously review the business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks.
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, IT or related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years' experience in digital product management
  • Strong skillset to gather requirements and document business processes.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams, strong communication and presentation skills.
  • High attention to detail, team player and process oriented.

Location Requirements:

This role is based in the Tampa, Florida office. This is a hybrid role. Candidates must be local to the Tampa Bay area. Relocation is not available for this role.
