The Director of Partnership Sales will be responsible for driving the growth and success of Katapult’s affiliate and referral partnerships. This role will engage with a diverse range of third-party partners—including lenders, marketplaces, service providers, and retailers—who play a vital role in driving new consumer acquisition for Katapult. Additionally, this position will manage outbound affiliate partnerships, where Katapult generates revenue by referring customers to third-party businesses. 

As a key contributor, the Director will play a pivotal role in developing and executing an affiliate sales strategy, managing the sales pipeline, and driving revenue growth across both established and emerging networks. This role requires a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven track record in managing partner relationships. The Director will be responsible for nurturing strategic partnerships, negotiating contracts and achieving sales targets, in addition to providing regular updates on affiliate performance, and identifying and addressing challenges as they arise. 

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in market trends, competitor analysis, and a strong understanding of business operations within the financing and retail sectors. A high attention to detail, an analytical mindset, and strong entrepreneurial skills are crucial for success. What You’ll Do 

· Oversee and expand affiliate and referral partnership portfolio across target segments 

· Nurture existing partnerships to boost sales referrals, pipeline growth, and revenue 

· Negotiate contracts with affiliates to ensure long-term success 

· Manage new partner onboarding, from signature to revenue 

· Identify new revenue opportunities for growing the partner network 

· Align affiliate strategies with company-wide sales and marketing initiatives 

· Accountable for assigned OKRs 

· Analyzes business performance and create periodic reviews of key metrics and KPIs 

· Collaborate with internal teams for seamless program implementation

Experience & Skills We’re Looking for 

· 7+ years of experience in sales / business development with direct experience in affiliate marketing, and/or partnerships (Required) 

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Preferred) 

· Experience working with e-commerce, fintech, or payments platforms 

· Demonstrated success in managing and scaling affiliate or referral programs 

· Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving revenue growth 

· Proven experience negotiating and managing contracts with external partners 

· Strong analytical skills and experience using tracking and reporting tools 

· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills 

· Goal-oriented, highly organized, and capable of thriving in fast-paced settings 

· Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities 

· Ability to build and maintain relationships across various stakeholders 

· Primarily remote, with occasional overnight travel as needed
