Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing Legal and or Financial services coupled with call center and customer service center experience, with a focus on ensuring compliance with established business rules and achieving key performance metrics. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Financial and Legal services to disabled veterans and their caregivers. They will oversee Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), Supervisors and Paralegal and Financial paraprofessionals, ensuring that they are meeting performance goals and providing excellent customer service. 


This position supports the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers (PCAFC) by providing Legal and Financial Planning Services as a Program Manager. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the program, which is responsible for providing Legal Services, Financial Planning, a Customer Call Center, and a Secure Website.

Job Type: Full-time/Exempt


Location: Remote with limited travel anticipated


Anticipated Start Date: March 2025


Position Responsibilities:

  • Serves as single point of contact with authority representing the company with the customer team developing collaborative relationships with key operational customers and stakeholders.
  • Drives effective alignment of business processes, technology, and human capital ensuring all business systems synchronized for maximum efficiency, deliverable execution and compliance, and client satisfaction.
  • Defines and leads to key metrics and performance indicators instilling best practices and processes.
  • Leads contractual discussions and modifications to include identification of areas for enhancement and risk mitigation.
  • Partners with other key corporate functions to ensure effective support and timely flow of accurate and dependable business data essential to managing the business.
  • Executes revenue and cost objectives above expectations.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.
  • Provides strategic direction and ensures planning and execution to meet and exceed contract deliverables.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a master’s degree in a business or legal field (such as MBA or JD) 
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience providing finance and legal services
  • Experience must include call service centers supporting finance and legal guidance. 
  • Must meet government security requirements 
  • Must have or be able to pass a Tier-1 Background investigation.
  • Non-expired Tier-1 or higher background investigations meet this requirement.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience providing support to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
  • Experience/familiarity with providing support to Disabled Veterans and their Caregivers.
  • Experience/familiarity with DoD legal processes.
  • Management experience leading 50 or more employees.
  • Experience supervising a large remotely employed workforce.
  • Experience with 24/7/365 operations.
