We're looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team! The Senior Accountant will assist the Controller in managing the company’s accounting operations. Core responsibilities include overseeing GL accounting, T&E administration and sales & use tax administration.

Requirements


Primary Responsibilities


1. General Ledger:

  • Primary responsibility for month end closings including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Daily processing of routine transactions and reconciliation of bank accounts.
  • Assists with annual audit/tax preparation.
  • Perform adhoc analysis on an as needed basis.

2. Sales & use tax

  • Oversee the timely filing of monthly, quarterly and annual US sales tax and Canadian HST/GST/PST returns using Avalara.
  • Review and resolve any tax notices that are received.
  • Assist with business annual reports & licenses filings on an as needed basis.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Thorough knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication (written/verbal) skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
  • Positive attitude and team player.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel) and cloud based ERP accounting software (preferably NetSuite).
  • Familiarity with outsourced sales tax application (preferably Avalara)
  • Familiarity with 3rd party travel administration system.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting.
  • 5-8 years progressive experience.

Additional Comments

  • This position is hybrid position based at our Malvern, PA headquarters.
Salary Description
$85,000 - $95,000
