Description

Remotely presents and sells specific BioStem products to new accounts and follows up with these customers to confirm that products delivered meet their needs. Maintains close working relationships with clients to ensure that their needs are understood and met. Coordinates with marketing and sales staff to stay current with product knowledge, ensure that products are delivered on time, to stay informed about new products, and to provide customer feedback.

Requirements
  •  Efficient at searching the web and data bases to identity ophthalmologists that treat Extreme Dry Eye, Corneal Abrasions, Keratitis, Corneal Ulcers, Neurotrophic Keratopathy, Chemical Burns and/or Non-healing Epithelial Defects. Establishes and maintains close relationships with new clients and existing accounts
  •  Calling clients and accounts to introduce BioStem and demonstrate VendajeĀ® Optic, explain the benefits of BioREtain, and identify needs that are underserved in their facilities.
  • Maintaining contact with clients to monitor their satisfaction with products.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve customer satisfaction with products.
  • Assist in onboarding new accounts.
  • Creating and managing mail, email and sampling campaigns to identified contacts.
  • Preparing and submitting pricing agreements to clients for products.
  • Following up with clients to identify opportunities to increase sales volume and profitability.
  • Resolving problems with clients regarding manufacturing or delivery problems, if they occur.
  • Coordinating with marketing and sales staff to ensure that the right products are shipped to customers on a timely basis and in the amount required, to stay informed about new products provided by, and to provide feedback from customers about product needs and possible innovations.
  • Makes decisions within approved authorization limits regarding product pricing to optimize sales volume and profitability.
  • Prepares reports summarizing sales results achieved, contacts made, needs for change in products and suggestions for improvement in procedures.
  • Participates in a variety of sales training and planning meetings to learn about new products and marketing promotions, and to share information about sales goals.
  • Maintains a high level of knowledge about and competitor products and their advantages and disadvantages.
  • Sets and achieves personal performance goals for sales volume, new contacts made, new client sales and other related sales results achieved.
  • Proficient in created and presenting effective PowerPoint presentations to clinician offices.
  • Participates as a member of the sales team to improve ability to increase market share by identifying ways to increase product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Attends conferences as requested.
  • Uses phone, email, etc. to perform sales duties with clients.
  • Performs a variety of other sales related duties, as required.
Salary Description
$50K base / $30 variable / $80K at plan
