Description

Position Summary:


We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join our team to facilitate smooth pre-sale and post-sale operations for a dynamic, high-energy, high-performing sales team. This role involves close collaboration with sales teams, art production, sales operations, finance, and external clients to manage multiple workflows. You will ensure the accurate, timely delivery of sales collateral and print and digital ad campaigns while maintaining high-quality customer service standards. A strong focus on relationship management, proactive communication, and process improvement is essential. Additionally, you’ll contribute to team dynamics and ongoing improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal  & Presentation Development: Assist sales teams in creating  compelling proposals and building impactful sales presentations for client pitches.
  • Salesforce CPQ Support: Use Salesforce CPQ to assist in generating accurate quotes, ensuring smooth sales operations.
  • Workflow Management: Assist assigned sales reps with coordinating ad copy collection and collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality print and digital ad materials on time.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all advertising content meets company standards and client expectations.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Serve as the liaison between sales teams and internal departments to facilitate seamless pre-sale and post-sale processes when questions arise.
  • Process Improvement: Actively participate in initiatives to optimize workflows, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive team innovation.
  • Spec Ad Management: Manage the submission of speculative ads for prospective clients.
  • Targeting & Campaign Management: Assist with demographic and geographic targeting for print ad campaigns.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Compile and analyze reports that help sales  representatives track renewal opportunities, new client sales, ad copy deadlines, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Prior experience in Sales Support or customer service, particularly in advertising or a related field, is highly desirable.
  • Salesforce CPQ: Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ is an asset.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-Starter:  Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-motivation and discipline, especially in a remote setting.
  • Tech Proficiency: Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software. Quick learner of new systems and  technologies.
  • Location Flexibility: Experience/willingness to work outside the Eastern Time  Zone is a plus.
