Description


Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Senior Strategic Account Marketing Manager, the Assistant Strategic Account Marketing Manager will play a key role in driving our marketing efforts with strategic accounts by supporting the development and execution of account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the strategic account sales team and cross-functional departments to implement personalized account-based marketing programs that drive brand visibility, strengthen customer relationships, and accelerate engagement with key accounts.


The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator. They should have experience supporting the execution of marketing programs, managing account-based marketing initiatives, and working effectively within cross-functional teams.


Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with the Strategic Account team to identify opportunities to increase awareness, reputation, and consideration for Matrix Fitness' products and solutions.

· Support the execution of account-based marketing (ABM) programs tailored to the specific needs and attributes of each strategic account. 

· Work with the creative team to develop personalized content for account-based marketing campaigns.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with sales, internal team members, and within strategic accounts. 

· Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of customer visits and programs.

· Create tools & resources that support and enable our sales team.

· Champion alignment between sales, marketing, and other internal departments. 

· Create and distribute internal communications to increase awareness of strategic account marketing assets.

· Assist in the maintenance of comprehensive strategic account profiles and contacts.

· Gather and share insights from strategic accounts and market trends to inform marketing initiatives.

· Manage advertorial calendar and coordinate the completion of deliverables for media buy assets. 

· Maintain and update strategic account marketing tools (Microsites, Box Folders, Document Libraries, etc.) 

· Identify strategic account showcase installations; plan and coordinate photo/video shoots at those locations. 

· Contribute copy and content for the brand’s social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)

· Support the planning and execution of tradeshows and events, including coordinating pre- and post-event communications.

· Assist in writing proposals and RFPs as needed. 

· Accurately manage expenses in accordance with budgetary requirements.

· Provide support for other duties and projects, as assigned.

Requirements


Education:

· 4-year degree in marketing, marketing research, communications, or related field required


Experience:

· A minimum of 5 years of experience in executing marketing strategies and programs, including working within predefined brand standards

· Experience in B2B marketing; health club industry experience is a plus

· Effective project management experience

· Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously


Other Requirements:

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft CRM and ClickDimensions

· Willingness for occasional domestic travel (15-20%) 

· Requires a valid driver’s license for travel
