We are proactively seeking Civil Engineering Interns for 2025! As a Civil Engineering Intern at HRG, you will gain valuable knowledge and hands-on experience in various elements of civil engineering design. You will support/focus on Transportation Engineering (Traffic, Highway & Bridge), Municipal Services, Water & Wastewater Engineering, Land Development & Site Design, or Water Resources Engineering. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Working with closely Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s) in design/drafting capacity
• Performing basic calculations
• Conducting on-site construction observation of work in progress
• Preparing plans and profile drawings utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Reviewing project design manual(s) for specification requirements
• Assisting in preparation of drainage, stormwater management, erosion and sedimentation control and other reports required for project permits and approvals

Locations: Harrisburg, PA, State College, PA, Lewisburg, PA, King of Prussia, PA, York, PA, Chambersburg, PA, Lehigh Valley, PA, Pittsburgh, PA, and Morgantown, WV

• Civil Engineering (or related field) student working towards Bachelor's Degree from an ABET-accredited program

- E.I.T. certification helpful, but not required

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience helpful
• Team player, strong communication, and organizational skills
• Requires travel to job sites and regional offices as necessary (Valid US drivers license is required)
• Has the legal right to work in the U.S.
