Description
FMTI is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager and Writer to lead the company’s proposal writing efforts. This role will be a major player in the company’s growth and business development efforts. The role includes managing multiple proposals at one time, as well as contributing significantly to the writing process. This role is a hybrid manager and individual contributor role. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on team-player with strong experience in managing and writing Federal government proposals, excellent relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the Federal government contracting industry.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities include:
- Manage the proposal process from start to finish.
- Help guide peers and more junior employees regarding the proposal process and writing.
- Provide advice to senior leadership regarding proposal process and writing.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in proposal management and writing.
- Strong understanding of industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Hands-on team player who is comfortable making recommendations and taking directions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
