Description

Job Purpose

The Human Resources Business Partner contributes to company performance by providing tactical and strategic reporting to drive  initiatives and strategies in support of the business objectives.  Partners with leadership to align HR strategy to business strategy by means of supportive and informative data.


  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Pull and manipulate reports from the HRIS system, Dayforce; taking a logical approach to analyze, format and summarize data 
  • Partner with operational leaders, applying business acumen, to produce meaningful data to be used by various leaders and divisions across the global enterprise
  • Question the data; dig in to determine 'the why', investigate and analyzes trends, metrics and reports to develop solutions, programs and policies 
  • Conduct analysis on reports and data and use information to create summaries to present information to leadership; go to leadership with questions with the goal of understanding the varying factors of the business and how that may impact reporting.
  • Pull standing and periodic reports and distribute to the business on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Processes documentation and prepares reports relating to employee activities (training, performance evaluations, employee changes, and terminations, compensation and more) through the cyclical cycle of HR
  • Generate and prepare slides/presentations in Powerpoint for review with business leaders
  • Research industry, functional and global trends in order to reshape corporate programs, policies and activities aimed at further engaging and retaining employees 
  • May be utilized to perform other Business Partner duties, such as providing day-to-day coaching to leadership on a variety of actions to include employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application; talent management and development; and organizational design consultation. Ensuring organizational compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, updating HRIS system and more
  • Work to streamline process; identify areas of improvement across HR processes and work to become more efficient individually and as a team
  • Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
  •  Partners with Payroll; HRIS; and Compensation and Benefits functions as needed to provide solutions for clients.
  •  All other duties assigned.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, or business-related field
  • Seven (7) to Ten (10) years of HR experience with at least two (2) years of HR Business Partner experience
  • Five (5) years experience manipulating data in Microsoft Excel; VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, charts & graphs 
  • Experience at a matrixed organization or global organization, preferred
  • Healthcare industry experience a plus

  • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move around the work area; Sit; perform manual tasks; operate tools and other office equipment such as computer, computer peripherals and telephones; extend arms; kneel; talk and hear.
  • Mental Demands: The employee must be able to follow directions, collaborate with others, and handle stress.
  • Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
