Description

The Contracts Administrator is a member of the revenue operations team at BWF. As the Contracts Administrator this position will develop, prepare, administer, and negotiate contracts and proposals with vendors, partners, and clients, ensuring they meet specifications with all policies and regulations. This person will review contract terms to identify any potential risk or compliance issues. They will examine supporting materials and agreement documents related to contracts, providing guidance on findings. They will act as a liaison between BWF and vendors, subcontractors, partners, and clients and maintain contract records to ensure compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements. Successful candidates will possess excellent writing, communication, and time management skills.

Requirements
  • Use BWF contract templates to develop and send contracts to new/existing clients
  • Act as a liaison between BWF and vendors, subcontractors, partners, and clients to implement contracts
  • Negotiate and approve contract terms based both on recommendations from BWF counsel as well as through an independent risk assessment
  • Confirm proposal fees, timeline, and deliverables with sales team
  • Ensure that all records are accurate and up to date within CRM
  • Review and negotiate partner NDAs and partner agreements
  • Create regular status reports regarding progress of negotiations
  • Manage contract renewals and extensions
  • Analyze and maintain contracts to ensure they comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • File state registrations to maintain agreement compliance
  • Set up new project records in BWF system once a contract has been fully executed
  • Audit existing contracts and pending renewals 
  • Review Requests for Proposal (RFPs) on behalf of the sales team to align proposal submission expectations and outline requested negotiations
  • Support the completion of RFP forms 
  • Serve as support and backup for proposal writing team during periods of high volume
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a contract administration role or a related field
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills 
  • Excellent attention to detail to review contracts, reports, and invoices for accuracy
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and mediation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • CRM and data management experience
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Experience with Conga Contracts is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus

Work Environment/Conditions

  • This position can be remote or based in our Minneapolis office (locally based employees are expected to maintain a hybrid office present).
  • Position requires ability to work in a stationary position for majority of workday.
  • Continuous use of computer.
  • Frequent communication with team and clients via zoom, instant messaging tools, and in person.
  • This is an exempt position that requires at least 40 hours of work per week but due to the nature of this role, additional hours are required when deadlines need to be met.
  • Overnight travel is sometimes required (up to 10%).

 Compensation and Benefits Annual base salary range of $55,000 to $70,00 based on qualifications and experience.

Salary Description
$55,000 to $70,000 annually
