Arts Editor - The Stranger
Job Type
Full-time
Description

Noisy Creek, the parent company of The Stranger, Portland Mercury, EverOut and Bold Type Tickets, is seeking a full-time ARTS EDITOR to join The Stranger editorial team

The Stranger, Seattle’s award-winning news and arts publication, aims to cover Seattle in smart, engaging, challenging, and surprising ways. Our arts coverage shines a light on the city’s most interesting artists and makers—including everything from food and music to drag queens and poets—without being afraid to get a little weird at times. We ask tough questions, provide well-researched answers, and offer unique insights into the cultural lives of our city.

We’re looking for an editor filled with contagious enthusiasm and the desire to share their love for—and critiques of—the Seattle arts scene in both TheStranger.com and our monthly print issues. The arts editor will also play a vital role in selecting nominees for our 2025 Genius Awards, in which we shower brilliant local creators with thousands of dollars, no strings attached.
