Position Overview
We are seeking amazing, full-time clinical psychologists to join our team. Job duties include conducting diagnostic intake assessments and providing direct individual, family, and relational counseling services. Emerge utilizes a wide array of psychological assessments, with research and speaking opportunities available. For this role, you'll need to live in or near Akron, OH, as you'll primarily be meeting clients face-to-face at our Akron offices, with some Telehealth counseling opportunities.

Qualifications
- Ph.D. or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
- Completed an APA-accredited clinical internship.
- Licensed psychologist or license eligibility.
- Experience integrating Christian faith into counseling techniques and methods.
- Strong desire to collaborate in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records; the current system is EHR YourWay.
Preferred Experience
- Experience using assessments for – personality, education, and intelligence.
- Training in any advanced therapy modalities.
- Experience working with trauma-related disorders using advanced therapy modalities (e.g., EMDR).
- Experience working with young children using advanced therapy modalities (e.g., play therapy, expressive arts).
- Experience working with marital couples using advanced therapy modalities (e.g., Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy).
