Position Summary

Assist in the administration of the Athletic Department’s Business Office that adheres to all University, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations while providing a safe and accepting environment for coaches, staff, and student-athletes to grow and develop academically, athletically and encourages personal responsbility, sportsmanship, and service to others.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the coordination of the athletic department’s daily business operations, including P-Card, Advance Requests, Reimbursement Requests, and Check Requests.
  2. Assist in the coordination of Athletic Department travel, including air travel, bus rentals, and lodging for athletic teams and staff members.
  3. Assist in the planning and support for all Athletic Department special events.
  4. Order and manage office supplies for Athletic Department via Office Depot.
  5. Assist in the preparation of Athletic Department cash deposits including concessions, tickets, and sponsorship/licensing payments.
  6. Assist in processing Athletic Department donations.
  7. Oversee daily operation of Titan Club including inventory management, purchases, staffing, and upkeep.
  8. Assist in game day operation roles as necessary, including Titan Club, ticketing, etc.
  9. Other duties as assigned


Requirements

  

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or 18 months to four years of work experience in a related field.
  • Experience: Six months to two years (Equivalent combination of education and employment).

Preferred Qualifications


 A college degree or four to eight years of work experience in a related field.

  1. Eight (8) years of related experience can substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
  2. As earned associate’s degree relate to the position AND four (4) years of related experience can substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Well-polished communication and interpersonal skills; excellent leadership and motivational skills; willing and able to drive 15 passenger vans.


Physical Requirements

Job requires repetitively lifting light weight objects where frequent bending or stooping alternates with lighter activities.


Work Environment

Occasional exposure to objectionable conditions or variations such as those found in variable weather conditions or light industrial settings.


Licenses/Certifications

Valid Drivers license required.


Salary/Pay Information

Commensurate with experience


Anticipated Schedule

Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 5 pm, with evenings and weekends as necessary. 

Willing and able to travel extensively; willing and able to work evenings and weekends
