Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance


Work Schedule: Fully remote, but candidates near Ft. Liberty are preferred. 


Role Overview:

The Program Manager supports the JID-TC responsibilities at Fort Liberty, NC, as the JCS proponent for the Joint Tactical Operations (JTO) Interface Training Program, with the objective of ensuring that operational forces can exploit the full capability of JTO Interface Systems. Support covers the full range of functions required to plan, develop, coordinate and manage the JTO training program to include courseware development and world-wide formal academic training and joint exercise support to support joint, allied and coalition air and ground forces in the employment of JTO Interface capabilities. Annually conduct approximately 30 Joint/U.S. Training Courses (CONUS and OCONUS) producing approximately 2000 graduates, and 30 Allied Training Courses (OCONUS) producing approximately 500 graduates for 10 allied nations.

Specific Skillset

  • Oversee and manage large-scale defense acquisition and sustainment programs.
  • Direct and coordinate analysis efforts throughout the program life cycle.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD 5000 series guidelines and FAR regulations.
  • Possess a deep understanding of DoD regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to program teams.
  • Manage program budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Interface with government representatives and stakeholders.
  • Supervise various task order activities and ensure successful execution.
  • Conduct cost and schedule analyses.
  • Develop and implement program strategies and plans.
Requirements

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, or science.
  • PMI PMP is preferred

Experience Requirements

  • 15+ Years of experience in directing large analysis efforts in defense acquisition and sustainment programs.
  • 10 years of demonstrated management experience or project-level management in major systems.
