Description

CSC Leasing Company is seeking an Analyst to serve as part of its Credit & Investment team. The Analyst position at CSC is an integral part of the firm's transaction review process. Analysts are responsible for participating in deal teams assigned to specific transactions. CSC’s flat organizational structure, combined with the continuing expansion of the Credit and Investment Department, provides an exceptional opportunity for career growth and upward mobility.


The Analyst will work closely with the Credit & Investment team, originators, and clients to develop internal investment proposals for presentation to Investment Committee. While team-oriented principles are valued, self-motivated performance is also required for the Analyst role. The Analyst will have the most intimate knowledge of a company’s financials and must be able to use critical thinking to resolve issues with minimal supervision, while organizing and prioritizing overlapping assignments and deadlines. 


The Analyst should have experience and skill in:

  • Financial statement modeling and review
  • Calculating leverage and debt repayment capacity
  • Cash flow analysis
  • Collateral valuation
  • Corporate structures
  • General corporate finance as well as creating and presenting investment pitch decks

The Analyst will work out of the corporate office in Richmond, Virginia 

  • Perform detailed financial analysis of new and existing portfolio companies
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis
  • Support composition of investment memorandums
  • Present credit analysis to Credit & Investment team and senior staff
  • Participate and/or lead meetings and due diligence calls with clients
  • Participate in Credit and Investment Committee meetings
  • Assist with credit issuance and exposure management for existing AUM
  • Monitor and report on credit risk and exposure for CSC’s portfolio 
Requirements
  • 6-months to 4 years of applicable financial industry experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication/presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
