The entry electrical engineer will work in the dynamic system engineering team in support of the Department of Defense (DoD). This position is to support the certification process and provide the Navy and Marine Corps Spectrum Center (NMSC) and Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) with essential technical support and experience to evaluate and analyze Link 16 EMC Features (EMCF) of new or updated Link 16 terminals. System evaluation will be in accordance with DoD Instructions and Guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support for the EMCF Certification Process.
- Conducting reviews of vendor procedures and data to make sure requirements are being met.
- Supporting meetings to discuss technical topics regarding the certification of Link 16 terminals.
- Developing scripts to automate processes in Microsoft 365 suite of tools
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in electrical engineering, electronic technology, computer science, or another similar technical discipline .
- Minimum of 2 years of RF laboratory experience.
- Experience collecting RF Test Data in accordance with procedures using oscilloscopes, signal generators, pin diode modulators, RF detectors, spectrum analyzers, power meters, etc.
- Experience with Visual Basic Scripting for Word, Excel, etc.
- Experience using Python for testing automation.
- Experience with MATLAB scripting.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Secret Clearance or US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing and/or testing RF Amplifiers
- Experience with Link 16 waveform and Link 16 EMC Features
