The Gist…
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee two critical programs within our organization, with a strong focus on Agile tracking and delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization. This role demands a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across teams.
What Your Day Might Include…
- Manage and oversee two distinct programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Coordinate across multiple teams to ensure that all program activities are harmonized and executed efficiently.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Track program progress through Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and ensure visibility of key metrics to stakeholders.
- Identify and remove impediments that block the progress of the programs and teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations.
- Prepare and deliver regular program status reports, highlighting risks, issues, and milestones.
- Collaborate with resource managers to allocate and manage program resources effectively.
- Ensure that program teams are adequately staffed, and resources are optimized across projects.
- Identify potential risks to program delivery and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Maintain a risk register and ensure that risks are communicated and managed across both programs.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, learning, and iterative improvements within the teams.
- Implement best practices in Agile project management and ensure they are consistently applied across the programs.
- Monitor program budgets, ensuring that financial objectives are met.
- Provide regular financial updates and adjust plans as necessary to stay within budget constraints.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications…
- US Citizenship Required to obtain Public Trust
- DHS CBP Public Trust preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on Agile methodologies.
- Proven experience managing multiple programs or projects simultaneously.
- Experience in leading Agile teams and delivering projects using Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile frameworks.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
