This program offers therapeutic, behavioral, and educational support to elementary and middle school students who have been unsuccessful in their previous school placements and need more support from a therapeutic program. Daily activities include individual, group, and family therapy, keeping detailed documentation, and communicating with all necessary agencies. Experience with mental health is required. This position closely follows a Department of Education school schedule.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families to determine treatment needs
· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, caregivers, and other service providers
· Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, case managers, and educators, to ensure coordinated care
· Monitor and evaluate clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
· Provide crisis intervention and support to clients and families as necessary
· Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment interventions
· Participate in supervision, training, and professional development activities

- LMSW (or Limited Permit), LMHC, or LCSW licensure in New York State
- At least one year of experience working with the grades K-8 in a mental health and/or educational setting
