Empire Technological Group Limited DBA Aruze Gaming Global is looking to add an Accounting Manager to our team!
Las Vegas
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management and external stakeholders, such as investors, creditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Supervise and lead the accounting team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting deadlines.
- Coordinate and manage external audits, working closely with auditors to provide necessary documentation and ensure a smooth audit process.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Manage cash flow, monitor banking activities, and oversee cash disbursements and receipts.
- Optimize cash management strategies to ensure the organization's liquidity needs are met.
- Review timecards or timesheets submitted by approving manager to ensure accurate recording of hours worked.
- Communicate any discrepancies, pending time off requests, etc. to the employee’s manager in a timely and professional manner.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding their pay, deductions, and tax-related matters.
- Remit accurate payroll in a timely manner.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, auditors, vendors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Other duties as requested and /or assigned.
Skills / Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred/required. Finance, or a related business field will be considered, along with relevant work experience in Accounting.
- 4 to 6 years of hands-on Accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is a plus, especially in a gaming or technology-related industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of financial principles and practices.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
