Description
We are looking for a Data Analyst student to join our team of Summer 2025 Interns. Our internships are full-time, paid, and will run from May 19th through August 1st, 2025. This role will perform business analysis, including but not limited to Descriptive Analysis and Predictive Analysis, to assist decision-making for the business. This position will apply qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce substantiated recommendations to the organization. The internship assignment is designed to provide the student real-life work experience and training in the day-to-day activities in a manufacturing facility. Our internships are part of our recruiting strategy to attract and retain highly qualified talent.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Data collection, cleaning, and processing.
- Track and quantify operation risks to project month/quarter-end financials.
- Apply qualitative and quantitative techniques/methods utilizing statistical techniques and software to collect and interpret data to produce substantiated recommendations on sales trends, sales projections, budgets, etc.
- Convert data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports.
- Support BI/Analytics Team with reporting duties.
Education
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree Data Analytics, Business Economics, MIS, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of a 3.0 GPA
- Experience in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query development, data modeling, building visuals in Power BI Desktop (or similar business intelligence software).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Expertise with Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Translating project requirements into data solutions.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to work effectively with others and meet deadlines and goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook, and Teams.
- Self-motivated, organized, and self-starter.
