Job Overview:

As an Outdoor Furniture Sales Executive specializing in the multifamily sector, your primary responsibility is to drive sales of outdoor furniture products to apartment complexes, condominiums, townhomes, and other establishments within the multifamily industry. Your focus will be on providing tailored outdoor furniture solutions that enhance the aesthetics, comfort, and functionality of outdoor spaces for your clients. Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Business Development: Identify and target multifamily establishments as potential clients for outdoor furniture solutions. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads and opportunities within the multifamily sector.

2. Product Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the outdoor furniture products and solutions offered by the company. Stay informed about trends in outdoor design, materials, and functionality relevant to the multifamily industry.

3. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in the multifamily sector. Conduct site visits and assessments to understand clients' outdoor space requirements and design preferences. Provide expert advice on selecting outdoor furniture that aligns with the brand and ambiance of each establishment.

4. Customization and Solution Selling: Collaborate with clients to customize outdoor furniture solutions that meet their unique needs and enhance the overall experience. Present and demonstrate outdoor furniture offerings, emphasizing key features and benefits.

5. Proposal Development and Negotiation: Prepare detailed proposals, quotes, and presentations for multifamily clients. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts, ensuring client satisfaction and profitability.

6. Collaboration: Work closely with the internal design and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of outdoor furniture solutions. Collaborate with marketing to create materials and campaigns targeting the multifamily sector.

7. Market Research: Stay informed about market trends and competitor offerings within the outdoor furniture segment of the multifamily industry. Provide feedback to the company on emerging opportunities and challenges in the market.

8. Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and deal status. Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and strategic opportunities.


Requirements

 

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience in sales within the multifamily sector.
  • Strong understanding of outdoor design trends, materials, and furniture functionality.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Experience with cold calling and handling warm leads is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with prospects, deliver compelling sales pitches, and communicate product benefits clearly.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to navigate through objections and close deals effectively.
  • Ability to build and maintain rapport with prospects, demonstrating a customer-centric approach to sales.
  • Experience in a lifestyle brand is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple leads, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
