Sales Representative for RPG Power Generation Products

Location: Mexico City or Remote within Mexico

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in Power Generation products tailored for the mining sector in Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, complemented by at least five years of experience in selling complex equipment specifically to the mining industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire new customers to expand the client base.
  • Build and maintain global relationships with key clients for ongoing projects and new opportunities.
  • Implement targeted strategies to identify market opportunities and increase customer engagement.
  • Directly sell to meet sales goals, including negotiating contracts and closing deals.
  • Promote awareness of RPG’s products and services in the market.
  • Manage multi-location customer relationships to boost business.
  • Identify market potential and establish pricing strategies for key accounts.
  • Develop partnerships with customers and senior management to enhance business outcomes.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demos to showcase our solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to tailor solutions for customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and negotiate contracts.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management.
  • Execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth for RPG Power Generation products in the mining sector.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, specifically within the mining sector in Mexico.
  • Strong technical background in power generation, heavy equipment, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of successfully selling complex equipment and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously, managing time and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with RPG Power Generation products or similar technologies.
  • Experience in negotiating and closing large-scale contracts in the mining industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making.
