We  are a multi-channel business, selling a wide range of products, with a primary focus on product packaging labels and flexible packaging (stand-up pouches). We offer a variety of other products including magnets, stickers, RFID-embedded labels and a range of promotional products (yard signs, pop-up tents, floor decals, coasters, etc.), giving you a product portfolio that is unmatched in the industry. The Sales Director role will be responsible for leading our Direct Sales channel, with a team of Inside and Outside Sales Reps, targeting CPG manufacturing, hospitality, restaurant and retail industries.  The role requires the flexibility to think strategically to develop the sales strategy for the Direct Channel and operate tactically as a hands-on management of the sales team.  


Essential Functions


· Develop and execute a sales strategy to target and acquire new clients, grow existing accounts, and expand business opportunities in support of Brook + Wittle company revenue goals..

· Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations.

· Understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions to meet those needs, demonstrating a consultative approach to sales.

· Lead sales presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions with high-value clients.

· Achieve sales targets and KPIs, ensuring alignment with company revenue goals.

· Establish team territory sales objectives, goals, and targets, which address sales volume, profitability, new business, and new Customer potential. 

· Use Salesforce.Com as one of your daily management tools and ensure utilization across your team. 

· Evaluate effectiveness of existing and planned sales strategies; devise and execute corrective action when and where necessary. 

· Assist in the preparation of sales budgets; determine staffing requirements and sales personnel training and development needs. 

· Conduct and participate in sales meetings as necessary or appropriate. 

· Participate in team sales presentations when necessary or appropriate. 

· Work proactively with customers to develop and maintain relationships. 

· Work collaboratively and proactively with assigned Sales Representatives. 

· Coach, counsel and develop assigned salespeople to exceed their territory sales goals. 

· Ensure sales staff meets profitability objectives. Utilize value-add solutions to meet Customer needs. 

· Direct and monitor assigned Salespeople’s’ development of expert product knowledge and ability to deliver polished, professional, well-conceived sales presentations to Customers. 

· Develop and service existing account relationships. Initiate regular field sales calls within each territory. 

· Prepare and deliver necessary account analysis and sales reports.

· Routinely measure and address customer churn. 

· Collaborate with HR and other departments to recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent.

· Partner with Customer Service and Operations to ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications


· College degree or equivalent relevant sales experience management 

· A minimum of five years sales management experience 

· A minimum of two years outside sales experience in the pressure sensitive, shrink sleeve or flexible packaging market (or selling similar materials to our target industries)

· Proficiency in SaleForce.com, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
