The Gist...

We are seeking a Functional Analyst Lead with extensive experience in dashboard development and data modeling. This role will lead the creation of mission-oriented dashboards and requires expertise in a variety of programming languages, statistical tools, and visualization platforms. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate is infatuated with data, thoroughly enjoys communicating with management and executives the source and rational for data, as well as earning confidence in the data.


What Your Day Might Include...

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of mission-specific dashboards using Python, Java, Qlik, SQL, R, HTML, and CSS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and define dashboard requirements.
  • Perform data modeling using tools such as Excel, R, statistical software, and Power BI to derive actionable insights.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and scalability within the dashboard development process.
  • Create interactive, user-friendly dashboard interfaces to support business decisions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to present data insights and provide technical recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for dashboard systems, methodologies, and data flow processes.
  • Engage in technical writing to communicate complex data analyses, system architecture, and dashboard functionalities.
  • Ensure the integration of automated data workflows, optimizing dashboard performance and functionality.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members and analysts.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data visualization, dashboard development, and analytics.
Requirements

You'll Bring These Qualifications...

  • US Citizenship Required to obtain Public Trust
  • DHS Public Trust preferred
  • Bachelor Degree and 5+ years of experience in dashboard development, data modeling, and data analytics.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, Qlik, SQL, R, HTML, CSS.
  • Strong experience with Power BI, Excel, R, and statistical software for data modeling and visualization.
  • Proven ability to interpret data and present insights using interactive dashboards.
  • Expertise in database design and query optimization.
  • Experience in communications and technical writing to document processes and present findings clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the workforce planning, trade or international business domain.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline management.
  • Experience with cloud-based data solutions and platforms.
  • Leadership experience managing teams of analysts or developers
